My Story

The reason I chose to sign up as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator doesn’t include some lengthy story of how I went to a workshop and was WOWED; because to be completely honest with you, I’ve NEVER attended one before, so you are actually at a bigger advantage than I was. Actually, what happened was I decided it was time to take some time for myself and get a hobby. I tried bowling and golf, but soon realized I didn’t enjoy doing those things because as patient as my husband is, he is NOT a good teacher. I posted on my facebook how I was looking for a hobby and someone commented to my post with an opportunity to learn to do some rubber stamping through the mail. I decided to try it out, it was about Christmas time anyway and I love to send out Christmas cards. After only a few times of trying it and seeing the products, I was hooked! My wish list grew large and I wanted to learn everything there was to learn. That is when I was asked if I wanted to become a demonstrator. I jumped right in after only 3 months of doing it through the mail. I learned it was super easy, a great chance to be creative, offered me the chance to have a hobby, pay for my hobby, teach, and get out of the house every now and then. I hope as you start doing the projects I have to show you, you will find these are very true statements.
